Primagen Helmet

IMPORTANT:

All FurBitten Studios Protogen parts are NOT compatible with any of their Primagen parts. This listing is also only for the main helmet frame and does NOT include the visor, tech, or inner frame. Please see: Primagen Visors and Primagen Inner frame/Tech for those items.

Primagen Helmets are NOT protection gear of any kind and should not be used for such purposes. Primagen Helmets are costume pieces only and should be handled with care.

All parts are printed in Bambu Labs PETG

The Primagen Helmet Comes with the following items:

1 Main fin overband (MK1 or MK2)

1 Top screen of your choice

1 pair of secondary fins

1 pair of round cheek hubs

1 Jaw plate 1 Backing (2 pieces)

1 set of fin diffusion covers (LED frame only)

1 16 String MAX7219 Inner Frame 

1 pair of cheek caps of your choice

Part Specs:

Main Fin Overband:

• 4 holes for bar magnets (25mm X 5mm X 3mm)

• Compatible with both standard and K9 Primagen visor

• Cut out for your chosen top screen

• 4 threaded inserts already installed- M4

• Grooves for wire management

• Groves for LEDs (LED frame only)

Jaw Plate:

• 3 holes for bar magnets (25mm X 5mm X 3mm)

• Spot for a 40mm fan

• 3 large vent holes 

Cheek Hubs:

• 2 thread inserts already installed- M4

• Holes cut for wire pass through (LED Frame only)

Cheek Caps:

Blank- Empty caps with no mounting on it

LED Ring- Mounting for a strip of LEDs to loop around the cheek cap with diffusion cover included

Please tell me what caps you would like, If you leave the box empty blank caps will be given by default. 

Hardware bag will be included giving you a hex key and all needed bolts. Clear plastic blanks for all 3 screens will be provided as well.

LED Frame only- Diffusion Cover:

Please tell me what color you would like your covers to be, options available are:

Red, Blue, Light Blue, Green, White, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple White will be the default color given if you fail to note the color you want!

Would you like a buttonhole added to the left cheek hub?

If desired a 13mm hole can be placed on the left cheek hub at your request. This buttonhole is where FurBitten Studios mounts their button for expression changing. The button itself is not included with this listing. Please be sure to note if you want the buttonhole. If you do not leave a note, then NO buttonhole will be added. The buttonhole is at NO additional cost to you and is entirely optional.

Finish Types

Raw Kit:

The raw kit option is bare 3D printed parts with zero post processing whatsoever. Small sanding marks or filler may be seen in your raw kit to correct small surface imperfections. Support scaring may be seen

Part Sanding:

This service is the heavy sanding of visible helmet parts only. The jaw plate, cheeks, main fins, secondary fins, and top Scree. Items that are not typically seen or will be covered will not receive sanding such as the inner helmet areas and helmet backing. Diffusion covers will not be sanded nor the led grove (LED Frame only)

The heavy sanding is not a final surface finish but is the removal of the heavier layer lines. If you do not possess sanding tools further refinement by hand will be much easier with this service.

Part Sanding w/assembly:

If you want even more help I am offering to not only sand the parts but plastic welding of them as well, providing you with an assembled frame ready for final refinement. 

This service included the sanding, welding, and blending of the welds. As with the Part Sanding option, the sanding and weld blending is not a final finish. 

Not attached is the helmet backing and diffusion covers (LED Frame only)

Plastic welding is not the required way to assemble helmets but it is just how FurBitten Studios does it. You may just glue the parts together if you'd like.

If you are in need of something a little custom, please reach out to me! I may already be working on the part you need or may be able to accommodate it for a small fee. However, depending on the customization, you may need to consider a commission if large or several modifications are needed.
