CL-FBS Protogen Face Hardware Kit
Caw Labs and FurBitten Studios is here to give you all a custom Protogen hardware kit made to give you a premium set up without needing premium skills!
This kit includes the following items:
- Caw Labs PCB panel (Main control board, OLED bus, Mic, and boop)
- 1.25" I2c OLED Screen
- 14 String FurBitten Studios MAX7219 display kit (color your choice)
- 13mm momentary push button
- 4p sensor cable (2x)
- 6p sensor cable
- Control board cover
Needed item(s) not included is a C-USB cable for power/software upload. If you are using a FurBitten Helmet the consider getting the ultimate cheek caps and electronic frame found in their own listing.
Other items like LED strips and standard wire to connect the displays are not included. See my guide for a full tool and material list.

What can these boards/Software offer me?
With our hardware and software, you will have everything that FurBitten Studios Premade Ultimate Face comes with such as multiple expressions, built in games, live mouth animations, info hud, rave mode, and more! You will also be able to access from Caw Labs website new firmware's as they are released to get bugs fixes, new possible features, etc.
Will this be or become compatible with other MAX7219 String sizes (11,12 and 16)?
At this time, we only have things set up to use with the 14-string face as it is the most commonly used and is the size primarily used by FurBitten Studios. However, we are working to make hardware kits for the other sizes. When those are ready such options will be added to this listing. There is currently no ETA on this though.
Need something custom?
If your protogen does not have a single-color face you may email me at production@furbittenstudios.com for a custom kit quote. Please know that I cannot offer RBG MAX7219s but if your protogen builds need a kit with different color eye(s) or maybe a half and half color setup that can be accommodated. When emailing for a custom quote please include artwork of the characters face at minimum showing the left and right side of the face.
Please allow for a 1-2 week production time as items are made to order!
